PERCY ON THE RADIO

Date Posted: 29th March 2018

The start of the Maryport trail at The Settlement, Maryport.

BBC Radio Cumbria has put together a 1 hour documentary programme about #Percy Kelly. This will go out tomorrow, Good Friday, at 1pm. Belinda Artingstoll has recorded a series of interviews with people who knew him. It should be very  interesting. She has spent a lot of time and energy researching it.
If you are out and about you will find it later on Listen Again. I am also awaiting a link where you can access it for the next 30 days. I will send that to you as soon as I get it.
I have been frantically busy over the last year and have sadly neglected the Percy Kelly web site's GALLERY pages. I have now managed to load paintings from the retrospective exhibition which are potentially for sale and also some of the prints that were in the exhibition at Theatre by the Lake. E mail me if you wish to know more.
Thank you to all the people who have bought the trail boxes or downloaded individual trails  to phones or I pads   Hope the weather is good enough for you to test them out this Easter. I always like to get feedback from you.

A few adjustments were made before the reprint as things change. The  start of the Maryport trail which used to begin in Mill Street car park near the station is the only major change due to new times and charges to help the residents. I have rejigged the route it to begin at The Settlement at the top of High Street where you can park. It then picks up the old route in a slightly different order. Also I am aware that the printers have sealed the trail boxes really well this time  (almost too well) so you need to slice the top or one side of the box  cleanly to avoid damaging it when opening..
